In 2002, the NFL implemented a “Kickoff” game to open up each season. Now, every NFL season begins with the Super Bowl champions playing in the first Thursday night game of the season.
This year, The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Houston Texans. Now the last time we watched this matchup. The Texans jumped out to a big 24-point lead.
Then the Chiefs scored and they didn’t stop scoring.
And they kept scoring until they couldn’t score anymore.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs would go on to win the Super Bowl and now here we are set for a new football season.
