What’s up guys I’m DeQwan Young and this is the Countdown.
Back in the 80s and 90s, the running back position was way more important than it is now. It wasn’t done by committee, it wasn’t guys catching passes out the backfield, it was guys who were workhorse, hard-nosed runners.

Backs who ran between the tackles and got you 4 yards a pop. Sure you remember Barry Sanders, Eddie George and Jerome Bettis, but the running backs on this list put together great resumes, but they aren’t mentioned with the other greats. so we ask, who are the ten most underrated running backs of all time?

Ronda Rousey: Road to Recovery | Broken Hand Rehab | Qwality TV

A deeper look inside Ronda Rousey’s rehab, after she nearly lost her finger on the set of 911 on Fox. After recovering from a broken hand at Wrestlemania 35 with Dr. Lyneil, she will now continue her physical therapy, with hopes of being able to return to 100%.

Ronda Rousey: I met Lyneil through some mutual friends of ours. (Lyneil) started with my best friend’s husband, then started working with my best friend. He left a wobbler in my house that I used to walk around the house with. (Lyneil) was working with my husband, after his ankle surgery. Then I broke this hand, and I broke that hand, he totally fixed this one, like brand new. I smashed this knuckle so bad, that I have no more knuckle. On the set of 911, I chopped off my finger and I was like, I know just the guy.

My year, I was spending months in casts, and my secret weapon over here for recovery is Lyneil. As soon as I saw that I was able to have my fingers sewed back on, I knew that Lyneil would be able to get me back to as good as new. All I care about is making a fist. I don’t really care about my hand modeling career and I can give up the saxophone.

Yeah. I broke my hand, I’d say probably in the middle of my WrestleMania main event match. I was trying to punch this girl in safe spots, which is basically the arms and the torso. In between switching from arms to torso and arms to torso, I caught her elbow with my pinky and shattered it.

I remember looking down at my hand and seeing lumps that weren’t supposed to be there. And I was like, “Ah, dammit. Keep punching on this hand.” So, not only did I shatter my knuckle, but I did God knows what else to it after I shattered it. Did a whole remix for my right hand. They pretty much had to smoosh all of the parts that they could and put two pins in it. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to make a fist again. When I took the cast off I could only do this basically, (but) it’s all the way back and I’m super stoked.

The difference between healing my middle finger, opposed to my knuckle, was the open wound. It was a really big open wound. I (also) had to deal with a really big infection risk because the bone was exposed.

I had to be kept under observation and an IV overnight. We just had to be constantly wary of infection, be constantly cleaning it. It was actually pretty nice that I didn’t have to wear a cast. I hate casts… I hate not being able to scratch myself.

What’s up guys I’m DeQwan Young and this is the Countdown.

Were two weeks into the regular season and we want to take a look at some division rankings and predictions for each of the eight divisions in the NFL:

Shayne’s Best Bets: Record (3-3)
Colts/ falcons over 47
Expecting a lot of points in this one. Colts missing key defensive starters and I think Brissett can move the ball on a suspect ATL defense. Falcons win 30-27

Lions/ eagles – lions +6
Lions should be able to hang around and keep it within the number against an Eagles team that’s banged up all over. Eagles win 23-20

Texans @ chargers. Chargers -3
This is a cheap price to pay for the better team at home and anytime I get a chance to fade Bill OBrien in a FG game I sure as hell will. Chargers win 31-21

What’s up guys I’m DeQwan Young and this is the Countdown.

In the 2018 season, The New England Patriots defeated the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl 53 and with only one major loss on offense in Gronk and some losses on defense, the Patriots are still expected to contend for another Super Bowl. But here’s the thing; Tom Brady is literally the greatest quarterback of all time, AND he’s led the New England Patriots to a grand total of six Super Bowl championships. He just signed a contract extension to play until he was 44 years old. With him and Belichick being the greatest coach/player duo ever, it’s not crazy to think that the Patriots will be on the Stairway to Seven this season. Today, we explain the 5 reasons we think the Patriots will repeat in 2019.

Shayne’s Best Bets
Buffalo @ Giants. LINE- Buffalo -2, PICK- Giants +2

I do not think Buffalo should be favored here. They win a game last week that they had no business winning, they were -4 in turnovers and the Jets defense scored 8 points and somehow the Bills managed to win. I’ll gladly take 2 points here in a game I think the Giants should be slight favorites in. Giants win 27-21

San Fran @ Cincy. Line- Cincy -1. Pick-Cincy -1

Im higher than market on the Bengals and lower on the 49ers. Only laying 1 with the Bengals here is way short imo and this is my biggest play of the week. Bengals 27-17

Jags @ Texans. Line- over/under 43. Pick- Under 43

Don’t be fooled because they got torn up by the best QB In the league last week, this Jaguars defense is legit. Losing Foles hurts and they will struggle to score points but the defense should let them hang around in what I think is a fairly low scoring game. Ill take under here. Texans win 23-16

Shayne’s Best Bets
WEEK 1 PICKS

We will be posting picks every week for NFL, and some CFB games here and there with @sugashayne_3).

Unlike fraud touts and hack media guys who posts picks weekly, I (@sugashayne_3) bet every single thing that I post. Quick PSA for people who plan on doing some gambling this year: bet to have fun and within your means, do NOT ever purchase a sports betting package from anybody. People who sell picks are all frauds looking to scam you and they don’t actually bet themselves. They are scummier than heroin dealers.

Washington @ Philadelphia

LINE- Philadelphia -9.5. Over/Under- 45. PICK- Philadelphia -9.5

I rarely find myself laying this many points in an NFL game but I have to fire here. I have Washington currently rated as the worst team in the NFC and Philadelphia as the best team in the NFC. Theres absolutely nothing about this Skins team to like. From braindead Jay Gruden to the addition of “journeyman” Case Keenum I think Washington has a legit shot to be the worst team in the league. Philly rolls here 34-14.

Cincinatti @ Seattle

LINE- Seattle -9.5. Over/Under- 44.5. PICK- Under 44.5

I see a pretty low scoring game here. Cincy should really struggle to score with a questionable O line and missing AJ Green. Seattle loves to run the ball which results in long drives and wasted clock. I see a 21-13 type game that Seattle will grind out and win.

Kansas City @ Jacksonville

LINE- KC -3 (-120) Over/Under 51.5. PICK KC-3 (-120)

Jacksonville seems to be one of the trendy teams that people are picking to make some noise this year and understandably so. The defense is still loaded and they made an upgrade at QB by finally getting rid of Blake Bortles and adding Nick Foles. While I do like Foles and am on board with the outlook of this team being much better I am going to bet that they cannot keep up with Patrick Mahomes and the high powered Chiefs offense in the first game of the season. This line opened 4.5/4 and has been bet down to 3. I am going to fade that move and fire on Kansas City in what I think is a 31-23 game.
